This second annual regional meeting is free and intended for all farmers, food artisans, local food processors, vintners, chefs, bakers, restaurateurs, grocers and school, hospital or nursing home food service interested in direct marketing opportunities. We will follow up on pertinent issues for our region, including food distribution networks and local meat processing. Panelists will highlight successful models and potential challenges and smaller groups will brainstorm specific ways to strengthen our local food system by connecting farmers with buyers.
