Explore the special adaptations of plants and animals that inhabit the arid landscape of the Columbia Plateau during this family-friendly event at the museum. Find out what coyotes eat, unravel the mysteries of animal tracking, inhale the aroma of sage and pine, dissect an owl pellet, and learn which critters are active in the dark! Hear and identify bird songs and take home handouts with much information about local birds. Appreciate the beauty of our natural landscape with a variety of hands-on experiences. The event is free to members of the museum, Barn Beach Reserve, NCW Audubon and Chelan-Douglas Land Trust.
